FUN FACTS
Hands and feet; over half the bones!
More than half the bones in the human body are in the hands and feet.
Whole adult body: 206 bones (270 bones at birth)
Each hand: 27 bones
Each foot: 26 bones
Hands + feet = 106 bones
Sweaty!
Each foot has approximately 250.000 sweat glands. This makes it one of the most perspiring parts of the entire body. A foot can produce up to a pint of sweat in one day!
A whole lot of walking!
On average, your feet take 10.000 steps every day, that’s 3.000.000 in a year, and you’re expected to have walked 4 times around the globe - 115.000 miles – by the time you reach the end of your life.
